6 June 2018 – Walder Wyss was acting as Swiss Counsel to Toys‘R’Us Switzerland AG on the sale of its stores as part of the DACH-region business to Irish-British toy retailer Smyths in the course of the US toy retail chain Toys‘R’Us' voluntary Chapter 11 proceeding involving substantial financial restructurings. The transaction volume was not disclosed.
