Walder Wyss assists Sberbank Moscow in a USD 3.9 bn financing of URALCHEM JSC Russia

23 December 2019 – Sberbank Moscow has signed a long-term loan agreement with URALCHEM JSC Russia, a leading manufacturer of a wide range of chemical products, and offered USD 3.9 bln in funding. The deal is structured as a syndicated loan under Russian law in accordance with Russian LMA documentation.

Walder Wyss advised Sberbank Moscow on all Swiss legal aspects of the transaction. The team was led by Francis Nordmann (Finance, Partner) and included Rafal Szala (Finance, Senior Associate) and Valentin Wiesner (Finance, Senior Associate).
