8 October 2020 – Rigips AG has sold its site in Leissigen/Krattigen to Ciments Vigier SA. The relevant site comprises both a gypsum quarry and a gypsum factory. It extends over several plots of land. The sale was completed on 30 September 2020. Kieswerk Steinigand AG, which has taken over five employees of Rigips AG, will continue to operate the quarry on behalf of the buyer.

With the sale of the site in Leissigen/Krattigen, Rigips AG consolidates its production of Alba® solid gypsum plasterboards at the expanded factory site in Granges (VS). The representatives of Rigips AG are convinced that the deal is a good solution for both, the Leissigen/Krattigen site and the employees affected.
