8 April 2021 – Funds advised by KLAR Partners Limited (KLAR) have signed an agreement to acquire ISS Kanal Services, a corporate carve-out from ISS Schweiz AG and Switzerland’s leading underground infrastructure maintenance service provider. The acquisition is in line with KLAR’s investment strategy to make control investments in companies providing mission critical services in resilient and growing markets. ISS Kanal Services is KLAR’s first acquisition in Switzerland.

KLAR Partners is a European private equity company focused on the business services and industrial sectors. Last month, KLAR could announce the final closing of its debut fund, «KLAR I», at its hard cap of EUR 600 million. The fund is one of the largest European first-time funds raised in the last 10 years and by far the largest raised during the COVID-19 pandemic.

ISS Kanal Services AG is a leading competence centre for holistic underground infrastructure maintenance services in Switzerland with around 300 employees. ISS Kanal Services AG is part of the ISS A/S group, a leading workplace experience and facility management company operating in over 60 countries worldwide.
