Areas of activity: Corporate / M&A Capital Markets

Christian Schmid is an associate in the Corporate/M&A team of Walder Wyss. His preferred areas of practice include domestic and cross-border mergers and acquisitions, corporate, economic, financial and capital markets law as well as general contract law.

Christian Schmid studied law at the University Zürich (BLaw 2016, MLaw 2018) and King's College London (LL.M. 2018). During his studies, he worked at another leading law firm in Zurich. Before starting his practice as an attorney, he worked as a trainee lawyer at Walder Wyss. He was admitted to the bar in 2021.

Christian Schmid's professional languages are German and English. He also speaks French. He is registered with the Zurich Bar Registry and admitted to practice in all Switzerland.
