Diana Akikol appointed to the International Court of Arbitration

4 July 2021 – We are delighted to announce that partner Dr Diana Akikol has been appointed to the International Court of Arbitration of the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) in Paris as new member for Switzerland with effect from 1 July 2021. Congratulations on this appointment!

Dr Akikol was formally appointed to the ICC Court on 11 June 2021 by the World Council, ICC's supreme governing body, upon nomination of ICC Switzerland. The appointment is effective for a three-year term (2021-2024).

Founded in 1923, the ICC Court is the leading and most renowned institution for the administration of arbitration proceedings around the globe. The Court currently has 195 members from 121 countries.

Diana Akikol represents our clients in complex commercial arbitrations and regularly sits as an arbitrator, often as president. Her expertise extends to both institutional arbitrations (e.g. Swiss Rules, ICC, LCIA Rules, etc.) and ad hoc arbitrations (including UNCITRAL proceedings).
