A new Partner strengthens our Geneva Office
1 October 2024 – We are delighted to announce that Aude Peyrot has joined the team of Walder Wyss as a new partner in our Geneva office.
Dr. Aude Peyrot is a recognized specialist in inheritance law. As a Trust and Estate Practitioner (TEP), she advises Swiss and foreign clients on estate planning, and assists them in domestic and international disputes involving complex structures (trusts, foundations, etc.). She has been named “leading private client practitioner” in Who's Who Legal (Switzerland) for several years.
She also practices real estate law (real estate transactions and developments), banking litigation and debt enforcement law (including recognition and enforcement of foreign judgments).
Aude Peyrot was a lecturer for several years (amongst other for the wealth planning, trust law and divorce law classes). She was a visiting scholar at Harvard Law School and at Max-Planck Institute für Ausländisches and Internationales Privatrecht in Hamburg. Her PhD, dedicated to trust law and debt enforcement in Switzerland, was granted many awards and recognitions, in particular the Latsis Prize, which rewards outstanding publications that contribute to significant progress. She also published numerous articles and is a regular conference speaker on her areas of expertise.
Aude Peyrot is co-moderator of the Geneva Bar Association's specialized forum on inheritance law. She is a member of the Swiss Bar Association. She is also a director of a leading real estate company in French-speaking Switzerland and a member of the board of a charitable foundation in Geneva. She is currently President of the Société genevoise de droit et de législation.
Aude Peyrot practices in French and English. She is registered with the Geneva Bar Registry and admitted to practice in all Switzerland.
