Sparta Commodities secures USD 42m Series-B Round led by One Peak to transform commodity trading with AI-powered insights and collaboration

8 April 2025 – Sparta Commodities SA, a market leader in real-time intelligence for commodity traders, has successfully completed a USD 42m Series-B financing round. The round was led by One Peak, with continued support from existing investors Singular and FirstMark. This latest investment will support Sparta’s expansion beyond the oil and gas sector and accelerate its transformation from a data provider into a comprehensive, AI-powered trading platform – a next-generation operating system designed to equip traders with actionable insights and enhance collaborative decision-making across the industry.

Walder Wyss advised Sparta on this financing round. The team was led by Hubertus Hillerström (Partner, Corporate/M&A) and further included Fouad G.
