EKSF recommends fundamental revision of the Swiss Narcotics Act

10 settembre 2019 – In its 10 years analysis of the Swiss Narcotics Act (NarcA), the Federal Commission for Addiction Issues (EKSF) comes to the conclusion that a considerable part of the objectives set out in the purpose article of the NarcA will not be achieved. The EKSF claims that the NarcA is not based on the actual reality of consumption in Switzerland, but unilaterally on abstinence and prohibition, and, as a result, it contains numerous logical inconsistencies. The EKSF therefore recommends a fundamental revision of the NarcA. For further information, see here.
