18 settembre 2019 – The Federal Council intends to accelerate the planning of highly specialised medicine (HSM) and appreciates the work that the cantons have already done. It encourages them to intensify their efforts in the coming years. At its meeting on 13 September 2019, it approved a corresponding report. At present, the Federal Council does not intend to make use of its subsidiary competence and intervene directly in the planning. However, it intends to review the situation in three years' time.
