24 settembre 2020 – At its meeting on 18 September 2020, the Federal Council opened the consultation process on the amendment of the Health Insurance Supervision Ordinance (KVAV) in order to clarify the conditions for the application of the voluntary reduction of reserves and the reimbursement of excessive premium income by insurers. The amendment should enter into force in June 2021 and apply for the first time when premiums are approved in 2022.
