31 maggio 2022 – Julius Baer Group Ltd. sold the entire outstanding share capital of Fransad Gestion SA (Geneva), a major Swiss independent wealth manager, to the management team and an industrial partner in a management buyout.

Fransad manages around CHF 1.5 billion of assets. The company has partnership agreements with several leading Swiss and international custodian banks and offers wealth management solutions tailored to the needs of high-net-worth individuals and entrepreneurs. It employs around twenty people, including ten relationship managers.

The transaction will allow a strengthening of Fransad’s position in the market and enhance its growth under the ownership of the management team.

Julius Baer and Fransad will maintain the existing partnership focused on traditional custodian services and intend to develop it further in future.
