15 settembre 2023 – At its meeting on 15 September 2023, the Federal Council opened the consultation procedure on the amendment of the AIA to follow up on motion 11.3811 (Darbellay) "Closing the legal gap in the accident insurance". This amendment is intended to ensure that daily allowances are paid by the accident insurance if the incapacity to work is due to relapses or late effects of an injury suffered by the insured person at a young age when they were not yet insured under the AIA.
