7. Juli 2022 – At its meeting on 22 June 2022, the Federal Council decided that the master plan for strengthening biomedical research and technology should be renewed for the years 2022-2026. The plan is intended to strengthen Switzerland as a research location and at the same time ensure that the population has affordable access to new biomedical products. The priorities are clinical research, the development of innovative therapies and digitalisation.
