Banque Cantonale de Genève successfully issues its first Eurobond
27. März 2025 – Banque Cantonale de Genève successfully placed its inaugural EUR 500m fixed rate Eurobond listed on the SIX Swiss Exchange and maturing in 2030. BNP Paribas acted as Lead Manager and Banque Cantonale de Genève acted as Co-Manager.
Banque Cantonale de Genève is the first Category 3 cantonal bank to issue a euro-denominated bond on the European market. With this bond, the Bank can diversify its sources of financing and complete its long-term refinancing. By targeting the European market, the Bank is widening its investor base and raising its international profile.
