Walder Wyss advised Zürcher Kantonalbank as Mandated Lead Arranger, Coordinator and Agent in connection with a project financing for Sedrun Solar AG. Sedrun Solar AG, a joint venture of Energia Alpina and the aventron group, is currently constructing Switzerland's biggest large-scale photovoltaic plant in the Alps. Located in the municipality of Tujetsch (Surselva) at an altitude between 1,950 and 2,100 meters above sea level, the plant will generate an expected annual electricity output of around 29 gigawatt hours, enabling the supply of locally produced renewable energy for up to 6,500 households.

The Walder Wyss team was led by David Borer (Partner, Banking Finance) and further included Ramona Wyss (Partner, Energy & Infrastructure), Jérôme Heman (Associate, Banking Finance) and Maurus Winzap (Partner, Tax).
