Walder Wyss joins newly created Global Legal Tech Alliance

22. April 2026

Walder Wyss has joined more than 15 leading law firms collectively creating the Global Legal Tech Alliance (“GLEGTA”). This is an international alliance designed to advance legal technology through cross-border collaboration and the joint development and deployment of innovative solutions for the legal sector. This shall enable the members to stay at the forefront of innovation and offer the best advice and technology to their clients.

Member firms come from various jurisdictions across the Americas, Europe and Asia. The alliance recognizes that the legal technology landscape is evolving rapidly and that law firms play an active role in shaping the way technology is developed, adopted, and applied in legal practice.

As part of the alliance, member firms will take part in regular formats such as the GLEGTA Academy, the GLEGTA Forum and the GLEGTA Strategic Forum, creating ongoing opportunities to exchange perspectives, share practical experiences, discuss emerging developments in legal technology and legal operations and offer the best possible training for young lawyers. The alliance is built on the idea that law firms are best placed to drive innovation in this sector, holding high quality data, having a deep understanding of legal issues and adhering to high ethical standards of practice.

Michael Isler, Member of the Management Board at Walder Wyss says:

“The alliance fits neatly into our digital strategy and provides a valuable platform for scaling secure, practical legal technology solutions that enhance efficiency, promote consistency and strengthen the client experience.”

By joining the Global Legal Tech Alliance, Walder Wyss becomes part of a global network of firms seeking to actively shape the future of legal services through cooperation, innovation, and shared expertise.
