Federal Supreme Court dismisses appeal of Open Source providers against public contract awarded to Microsoft

29 March 2011 – With decision of March 11, 2011, the Federal Supreme Court dismissed the appeal of Open Source providers in connection with a public contract for the provision of software licenses and maintenance awarded to Microsoft by the Federal Administration. The Federal Administrative Court decided last summer that the claimants were not entitled to appeal against the award. The Federal Supreme Court has now confirmed this decision.
