OneMed has entered into an agreement to acquire a majority share in SMEDICO AG

31 January 2021 – OneMed, a leading European distributor of medical supplies and other healthcare related services, has entered into an agreement to acquire a majority share of SMEDICO AG, a Swiss distributor with a strong market position in hospital and elderly care products. With this acquisition, OneMed's growth journey continues into a new market - Switzerland - and strengthens both its market presence and knowledge in product areas such as wound care, incontinence and orthopedics.

Walder Wyss advised OneMed as Swiss legal counsel on the transaction.
