16 September 2022 – Swissmedic is aiming to harmonise the requirements for dealing with nitrosamine contamination in medicinal products with those of the European environment as far as this is scientifically reasonable and is possible within the provisions of Swiss therapeutic products legislation. Therefore, Swissmedic is updating the requirements based on the latest revisions published by the European Medicines Agency (EMA).
