Philipp Habegger elected President of the Swiss Chambers' Arbitration Court

The board of the Swiss Chambers' Arbitration Institution has elected partner Philipp Habegger as President of the arbitration court for the 2013-2015 term. In that capacity he will lead the plenary sessions and the sessions of the special committee of one of Europe's leading arbitral institutions and one of the few which was able to report an increase in caseload for 2012.

Philipp Habegger has served as a member of the Swiss Chambers' arbitration committee (now the arbitration court) for three and a half years and was part of the working group that oversaw the rules revision process leading up to the 2012 Swiss Rules of International Arbitration. In July last year he also started his second term as alternate member for Switzerland of the International Court of Arbitration at the International Chamber of Commerce in Paris.
