Fabian Akeret works as an associate in Walder Wyss's Corporate/M&A team. His work focuses on contract, commercial, real estate and corporate law and he specializes in private national and international mergers and acquisitions (M&A) transactions as well as venture capital. Fabian publishes regularly in his practice areas.

Born in 1991, Fabian studied Law & Economics at the University of St. Gallen, Switzerland (B.A. HSG in Law & Economics, 2014; M.A. HSG in Law & Economics, 2017). Moreover, Fabian earned his Ph.D. in sales law from the University of St. Gallen, Switzerland (Dr. iur. HSG, 2023). Fabian was admitted to the St. Gallen bar in 2021. Currently, Fabian is enhancing his expertise by obtaining the qualification of a notary in the canton of Bern. Prior to joining Walder Wyss, Fabian gained professional experience at the District Court See-Gaster in the canton of St. Gallen and at a renowned commercial law firm in Zurich.
