Fabian Akeret works as an associate in Walder Wyss's Corporate/M&A team. His work focuses on corporate, real estate and contract law and he specializes in private national and international mergers and acquisitions (M&A) transactions as well as venture capital. Fabian Akeret publishes regularly in his practice areas.
Fabian Akeret studied Law & Economics at the University of St. Gallen, Switzerland (B.A. HSG in Law & Economics, 2014; M.A. HSG in Law & Economics, 2017). Moreover, Fabian Akeret earned his Ph.D. in sales law from the University of St. Gallen, Switzerland (Dr. iur. HSG, 2023). He was admitted to the St. Gallen bar in 2021. Currently, Fabian Akeret is enhancing his expertise by obtaining the qualification of a notary in the canton of Bern. Prior to joining Walder Wyss, he gained professional experience at the District Court See-Gaster in the canton of St. Gallen and at a renowned commercial law firm in Zurich.
Fabian Akeret primarily advises clients in German and English and speaks French as well. He is registered with the Bern Bar Registry and admitted to practice throughout Switzerland.
