1 gennaio 2024 – Michael Cartier has been admitted to the Register of Foreign Lawyers of the Singapore International Commercial Court (SICC).

The SICC was established as an alternative to settling disputes by international arbitration, by establishing a specialised court for international disputes based in Singapore. Additionally the SICC can hear cases which are transferred from the Singapore High Court.

A registered foreign lawyer may appear and plead before the SICC and give advice in relation to any relevant proceedings and relevant appeal subject to the conditions of the Singapore Legal Profession Act 1966.
