5 January 2020 – We are pleased to announce that our employees Ramona Wyss, Antonio Carbonara, Christian Eichenberger and Dominik Hohler, have been appointed as partners in our firm, effective from 1st of January, 2020. In addition, we are pleased to announce that as of 1st of January, 2020, Irène Suter-Sieber joined our firm as a new partner.

Ramona Wyss works in the transaction team with a special focus on regulated industries and the energy sector. She advises clients on joint venture, development and outsourcing projects, acquisitions, investments and commercial contracts. As a specialist in regulatory matters, she also regularly represents clients in administrative and public procurement law proceedings.

Antonio Carbonara represents parties in all aspects of commercial and business law in court, including corporate law (post-M&A disputes, disputes arising from shareholders’ agreements, blocking of the commercial register and other interim measures). He is also active in all aspects of debt enforcement and bankruptcy law, including the enforcement of domestic and foreign judgments as well as the freezing of assets. Antonio Carbonara advises on strategic and pre-litigation issues (dispute avoidance and dispute resolution). His main areas of work are in the fields of financial services and real estate.

Christian Eichenberger focuses on real estate transactions, real estate development and real estate dispute resolution (incl. alternative dispute resolution). He has acted in major transactions concerning the purchase and sale of real estate portfolios (with transaction values of more than 240 million Swiss francs) and was involved in many real estate development projects (the biggest project exceeding the value of 1 billion Swiss francs). He is listed as a ‘Rising Star in Real Estate’ in Expert Guides and as ‘Leading Individual’ in Chambers Europe.

Dominik Hohler advises national and international companies regarding their restructuring, financing, establishment and expansion projects as well as with regard to reorganisation measures and insolvency. He also focuses his practice on domestic and international M&A, private equity and venture capital transactions. Additionally, he advises corporate clients on all matters of corporate and commercial law related to their daily operations. Dominik Hohler regularly publishes and lectures in his fields of expertise.

Irène Suter-Sieber has substantial experience in employment litigation, with a particular focus on top executive compensation and employee incentive plans. She advises Swiss and international companies on all aspects of employment law, in particular, drafting of employment agreements and personnel regulations, termination of executives, restrictive covenants, restructurings such as transfers of undertakings and mass dismissals, international employee transfers, personnel lease as well as employment-related internal investigations, social security and data protection issues.

In addition, Andrea Haefeli and Tervel Stoyanov have been promoted to Counsel and Sylvia Anthamatten, Albane de Ziegler, Olivia Feusi, Pandora Kunz-Notter, Christine Leuch, Christian Hagen and Christian Lütolf have been promoted to Managing Associates. All promotions are effective as of 1st of January, 2020.

Andrea Haefeli advises clients in all areas of contract, commercial and corporate law. Andrea has a particular interest and legal expertise in sale and distribution law, general terms and conditions as well as in IT contracts. She advises on such projects from the conceptual and negotiation phase to dispute settlement.

Tervel Stoyanov’s expertise includes financing transactions (corporate debt finance, leveraged finance, asset finance (including real estate finance), acquisition finance and structured finance, factoring and securitisation), financial restructuring (including reorganisation measures and insolvency) and commodities related matters (e.g. SCTF, International Trade, etc.). Further, he advises on regulatory and commercial law aspects related to financial services.

Sylvia Anthamatten advises clients in all aspects of intellectual property law with a particular focus on trademark, copyright, design and unfair competition law. Sylvia Anthamatten represents clients in disputes before courts and administrative bodies. She also advises on corporate and commercial law.

Albane de Ziegler mainly practices in the area of local and international disputes, in particular cross-border litigation. Her main areas of practice are white collar crime, attachment of assets and enforcement of foreign judgements. Albane de Ziegler regularly assists banks, multinational companies and private clients in ordinary court proceedings.

Olivia Feusi’s preferred areas of practice include corporate and commercial law as well as contract law. Her practice focuses on domestic and cross-border mergers and acquisitions (M&A). She further advises national and international companies regarding their restructuring and financing projects.

Pandora Kunz-Notter’s preferred areas of practice are building, planning and environmental law, healthcare law, data protection law, public procurement law and administrative law.

Christine Leuch specialises in trademark law and fair trading law. She regularly advises and represents clients in contract negotiations and court and administrative proceedings in these areas, in particular in trademark registration and protection. Christine also counts the fields of product regulation, product safety and product liability, particularly food and consumer goods, among her areas of expertise. She advises national and international clients on legal requirements for products (such as labelling regulations and advertising regulations) and market surveillance in Switzerland (in particular the implementation of measures for product safety risks, such as withdrawals and recalls), as well as any liability risks for manufacturers under Swiss product liability law. In this regard, she also regularly provides advice for clients on setting up and negotiating licensing and distribution agreements.

Christian Hagen advises clients on general corporate and commercial law as well as contract law. His practice focuses on domestic and cross-border mergers and acquisitions (M&A), venture capital- and private equity-transactions including restructurings.

Christian Lütolf specialises in private M&A transactions with a focus on acquisitions, private equity and venture capital. He advises investors on their investments and assists and supports founders and their start-ups in all questions which arise in connection with the realization of their business idea, from the incorporation to growth financing to the exit of the start-up, as well as in matters relating to employee participation plans, transactions or other corporate or contractual matters.
