Naxicap acquires Stromer

25 May 2021 – Walder Wyss has advised Naxicap Partners Germany (Naxicap), a private equity firm active in all sectors and focussed on leveraged buyouts and growth capital, on the acquisition of the Swiss company myStromer AG (Stromer). Stromer is the leading manufacturer of premium speed pedelecs in Europe and the United States. Stromer is headquartered in Oberwangen near Bern and manufactures all its products in Switzerland. With subsidiaries in the Netherlands and US, it employs around 140 people and currently sells its pedelecs in 17 countries. As part of the transaction, the management team will also acquire a stake in Stromer. The transaction is subject to approval by the relevant competition authorities.

Walder Wyss acted as Swiss counsel to Naxicap.
