Areas of activity: Data & Technology Intellectual Property

Hannes Meyle is an attorney in the Regulatory, Competition, Information Technology and Intellectual Property Team. He specializes in e-commerce and IT security, data protection law, intellectual property, competition and antitrust law as well as private international law.

He studied at the University of Geneva and graduated from the Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich (First State Exam, 2012). During his legal clerkship at the Higher Regional Court District of Munich (Second Legal Examination, 2015), he worked at a leading international law firm in Munich. Before joining Walder Wyss, Hannes Meyle worked at the Chair of Private International Law and Comparative Law at the University of Geneva, where he received his doctorate in international private law (summa cum laude) in 2020.

Hannes Meyle speaks German, English and French. He is registered under Art. 28 BGFA in the public list of nationals of EU or EFTA member states who are entitled to represent parties before judicial authorities in Switzerland on a permanent basis under their original professional title.
