SkyCell AG - USD 57m financing round

1 November 2023 – Swiss based SkyCell AG has completed a USD 57 million equity financing round at a USD 600 million valuation with M&G Investments, a global investment firm that invests in innovative, privately-owned businesses addressing some of the world's biggest environmental and social challenges.

The investment will be used to accelerate SkyCell's global expansion, building on its sustained period of high growth. SkyCell AG provides pharmaceutical supply chains with temperature-controlled hybrid containers and technological solutions that prevent damage to vital medicine.

Walder Wyss advised SkyCell AG on all legal and tax aspects on this transaction. The team was led by Alex Nikitine (Partner, Corporate/M&A) and further included Dominik Aerni (Counsel, Corporate/M&A), Maurus Winzap (Partner/Tax), Janine Corti (Counsel/Tax), Reto Vonzun (Partner, Corporate/M&A) and Benjamin Suter (Counsel, Litigation).
