12 janvier 2024 – On January 11, 2024, ABB announced that it has acquired Swiss start-up Sevensense Robotics, a leading provider of AI-enabled 3D vision navigation technology for autonomous mobile robots. Sevensense Robotics was founded in 2018 as a spin-off from Swiss technical university, ETH Zurich.

Walder Wyss, whose startup-desk supported Sevensense Robotics from the very beginning, advised the sellers also in this transaction. The team was led by Florian Gunz Niedermann (Partner, Corporate/M&A) and further included Timon Nydegger (Managing Associate, Corporate/M&A), Fabienne Anner (Managing Associate, Corporate/M&A), Michael Kissling (Associate, Corporate/M&A), Alex Nikitine (Partner, Corporate/M&A), Maurus Winzap (Partner, Tax), Ursina Gremminger (Managing Associate, Tax) and Gion Giger (Counsel, Competition).
