7 ottobre 2024 – The international consulting firm Mercer has acquired hkp///group. Mercer is a subsidiary of Marsh McLennan (NYSE:MMC), headquartered in New York, a leading provider of human capital and investment consulting services. With its approximately 25,000 employees in 43 countries, Mercer is active in more than 130 countries.

hkp///group is a human resources and corporate governance consultancy firm with offices in Germany and the Netherlands. Founded in 2011, it is one of the fastest growing management consultancies in the German-speaking world.

Walder Wyss acted as Swiss legal counsel to Mercer on the transaction. The Walder Wyss team was led by Florian Gunz Niedermann (Partner, Corporate/M&A) and included Timon Nydegger (Managing Associate, Corporate/M&A), Stefan Walder (Counsel, Corporate/M&A) and Carmen Stetter (Trainee, Corporate/M&A) as well as Maurus Winzap (Partner, Tax) and Vangelis Kalaitzidakis (Senior Associate, Tax) as well as Simone Wetzstein (Partner, Employment) and Katja Rauber (Associate, Employment).
