LAVEBA Cooperative Group Renews and Simplifies Organisational Structure
20 giugno 2025 – The LAVEBA cooperative group, a leading cooperative trading and service company in eastern Switzerland operating in the energy sector under the AGROLA* licence brand, in retail under the LANDI* licence brand and in agriculture and real estate, has renewed and simplified its organisational structure.
The new structure, which was approved unanimously at an extraordinary delegates' meeting, is intended to position the LAVEBA cooperative group for the future and ensure its continued success. As part of the new organisational structure, the seven LANDI subsidiaries of the group, LANDI Appenzell AG, LANDI Bodensee AG, LANDI Glarnerland AG, LANDI St. Margrethen AG, LANDI Säntis AG, LANDI Thur AG and LANDI Werdenberg AG, have been merged into the newly founded LAVEBA LANDI AG and brought together under one organisational umbrella. The previous minority shareholders of the LANDI subsidiaries were offered the opportunity to sell their shares. Almost all minority shareholders took advantage of this offer, enabling LAVEBA to gain 1,290 new members for its new regional cooperative.
Walder Wyss advised the LAVEBA cooperative group on this transaction. The team was led by Urs P. Gnos (Partner, Corporate/M&A) and Nico Bernhard (Managing Associate, Corporate/M&A) and also included Angela Diener (Counsel, Corporate/M&A), Letizia Schlegel (Senior Associate, Corporate/M&A) and Janine Corti (Counsel, Tax).
