Givaudan made an equity investment and entered a strategic collaboration with the Swiss company Microcaps AG to strengthen its encapsulation capabilities. Givaudan is a global leader in Fragrance & Beauty and Taste & Wellbeing.

Microcaps emerged from ETH Zurich’s Complex Materials Group. It is built on a disruptive microfluidic technology that offers encapsulation solutions for the cosmetic, nutraceutical, and health and life science sectors.

Walder Wyss acted as the legal advisor to Microcaps and its shareholders on all aspects of the transaction.

The Walder Wyss team was led by Urs P.
