Maël Azokly is a trainee lawyer in the Employment, Litigation, Private Clients and Corporate & Commercial departments of Walder Wyss in Geneva.

Maël Azokly studied at the University of Geneva where he obtained a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations with a focus in law in 2018, a Master of Laws in 2021, as well as a Certificate of Advanced Studies in Legal Professions (École d'avocature) in 2022. During his studies, he further completed a semester at the National University of Singapore and represented the University of Geneva at the Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot Court. In parallel to his studies, Maël Azokly has led several initiatives on youth empowerment, digital transformation, the future of work, and digital self-determination. In particular, he acted as founding president of the Geneva Student Chapter of the Swiss LegalTech Association and co-founded the Geneva Human Rights Talks under the impulsion of former president Micheline Calmy-Rey. His efforts led him to formally integrate the Geneva Hub of the World Economic Forum’s Global Shapers Community in 2020. Prior to joining Walder Wyss, Maël Azokly worked as a legal analyst in a Zürich-based law firm where he offered legal advice in banking and financial markets law in the context of decentralized finance (DeFi).

Maël Azokly primarily advises clients in French and English. He is registered with the cantonal register of trainee lawyers.
