Anaëlle Genoud is an associate in the Banking & Finance Team. She advises banks and corporate clients in connection with finance and more generally in banking, stock exchange and capital market law. In finance, she focuses on corporate debt finance, acquisition finance and securitisations. Furthermore, she advises Startups and Investors with regard to general contract law, corporate and commercial law as well as in connection with financing rounds.

Anaëlle Genoud graduated from the University Panthéon-Assas (Paris II) and the University of Fribourg with a double Bachelor’s and double Master’s Degree in French and Swiss law. She then earned a Master of law Degree (LL.M.) in Banking and Finance law from Queen Mary University of London. Before joining Walder Wyss in 2019, she worked as a Junior Associate in a leading law firm in Geneva. Anaëlle was admitted to the bar in 2018. After spending her first years in our Zurich office, she returned to Geneva to expand our finance team in the French-speaking part of Switzerland.

Anaëlle Genoud practises in English and French and has a good command of German. She is registered with the Zurich Bar Registry and admitted to practice in all Switzerland.
