Joy Malka is Counsel in the Employment Law Team at Walder Wyss. She provides national companies, international groups and private clients with practical, solution-oriented advice on all aspects of employment law, particularly with regard to drafting employment contracts and personnel regulations, terminating employment relationships and restructuring projects involving transfers of undertakings and mass redundancies.

A particular focus of Joy Malka’s practice is international mobility, including providing advice on employment law in relation to cross-border employment relationships and staff leasing, supporting clients in obtaining work and residence permits, and offering advice on social security law issues in an international context.

Joy Malka studied at the Universities of Zurich and Geneva (lic. iur., Zurich 2010) and was admitted to the Bar of the Canton of Geneva in 2013. She is a Certified Specialist SBA in Labour Law.

Joy Malka has been a lawyer at Walder Wyss since 2023. Prior to joining Walder Wyss, she worked as a lawyer at a Zurich law firm specialising in employment and social security law, as well as at a major Zurich business law firm. Prior to commencing her practice as an attorney, she served as a trainee at a leading business law firm in Geneva.

Joy Malka practises in German, French, and English, and also speaks Hebrew. She is registered with the Zurich Bar Registry and authorised to practice throughout Switzerland.
