Viktoriya Chernaya is an attorney in the Corporate/M&A team of Walder Wyss. Her preferred areas of practice include domestic and cross-border mergers and acquisitions, corporate, financial and capital markets law as well as general contract law.

Viktoriya Chernaya studied law at the University of Zurich (BLaw 2018, MLaw 2020). During her studies, she worked as a part-time employee at Walder Wyss and completed a short-term internship at the District Court of Zurich. Before starting her career as an attorney, Viktoriya Chernaya worked as a trainee lawyer at Walder Wyss in the areas of Banking/Finance and Corporate/M&A and worked part-time as legal counsel at a bank. Subsequently, Viktoriya Chernaya passed the bar exam in the Canton of Zurich and was admitted to the bar.

Viktoriya Chernaya's professional languages are German and English. She also speaks Russian. She is registered with the Zurich Bar Registry and admitted to practice in all Switzerland.
