Michael Kündig is a managing associate in Walder Wyss’s Corporate/M&A-team. He specializes in private M&A- and private equity-transactions. Another focus of his practice is venture capital, advising startups and investors in connection with financing rounds and general contract and corporate law matters. Michael publishes in his areas of practice and is a lecturer at universities of applied sciences in Switzerland.

Michael studied law at the University of Bern, Switzerland (MLaw 2012) and the London School of Economics and Political Science (LL.M. 2021). Before joining Walder Wyss in 2017, Michael worked in an international IT-company, as a trainee in a leading law firm in Zurich and as a law clerk at the Commercial Court of Bern. As co-founder of a start-up, he successfully gained experience as an entrepreneur.

Michael’s professional languages are German and English, although he also speaks French. He is registered with the Zurich Bar Registry and admitted to practice throughout Switzerland.
