Christian Kirchmayr

Christian Kirchmayr is a lawyer at Walder Wyss in Basel and is registered in the register of lawyers of the canton of Basel-Stadt. He advises and represents private clients in civil law matters, with a focus on property and inheritance law issues. Christian Kirchmayr (born 1994) studied law at the Universities of Bern and Basel (BLaw 2020; MLaw 2022 summa cum laude). In addition to his studies, he was a member of the Swiss national badminton team and a sports soldier in the Swiss Army for several years.

Before joining Walder Wyss as an attorney, he completed an internship at Walder Wyss and gained practical experience as a legal trainee in the Regulatory & Development department at Novartis Basel and at the Civil District Court of Basel-Landschaft in Sissach. Most recently, he worked as a law clerk at the Civil District Court of Basel-Landschaft East in Sissach and at the Cantonal Court of Basel-Landschaft in 2024 and 2025. He was admitted to the bar in the canton of Basel-Landschaft in 2025.

Christian Kirchmayr practices in German and English; he also speaks fluent Spanish and French. He is authorized to litigate before all courts and authorities in Switzerland.
