Luca Castiglioni

Luca Castiglioni is Counsel at Walder Wyss, where he focuses on litigation and arbitration. He advises and represents clients before state courts, in both domestic and international arbitrations, as well as in enforcement proceedings and legal assistance matters.

Luca Castiglioni’s expertise covers complex cases involving different jurisdictions, authorities and languages. His practice spans a wide range of disputes, dealing with all types of corporate and commercial disputes and related areas of law, such as construction law and employment law litigation, as well as bankruptcy-related proceedings. He has acted as counsel both in institutional arbitrations (including Swiss Rules and ICC) and ad-hoc arbitrations.

Born in 1989, Luca Castiglioni studied at the University of Zurich (Bachelor of Law, 2013 and Master of Law, 2015). He subsequently completed his legal traineeship with a law firm in Lugano and worked as a law clerk at the District Court of Mendrisio-Nord. He was admitted to the bar in 2017. Before joining Walder Wyss, he worked for many years as an associate with a major business law firm in Zurich.

Luca Castiglioni practices in German, English, Italian and understands French. He is registered with the Ticino Bar Registry and admitted to practice in all Swiss courts.
