Alma Marchand obtained her Bachelor of Law from the University of Geneva (2019), followed by a Master of Law with a specialization in Health and Biotechnology Law from the University of Neuchâtel (2021). During her studies, she worked in the legal department of a Swiss private hospital, providing legal assistance to medical practitioners on various aspects of health law, including social insurances, civil liability, research involving humans, medical secrecy, and other regulatory issues. She then obtained the Certificate of Advanced Legal Studies (Ecole d'avocature) from the University of Geneva (2021) and was admitted to the Geneva Bar in March 2023. Before joining Walder Wyss in September 2024, Alma Marchand worked as an associate at sigma legal Ltd., a law firm based in Geneva.
