Alma Marchand

Alma Marchand is active in regulated markets, with a focus on financial regulation, public law, and health law. She advises financial services providers, banks, asset managers, insurance companies and public sector entities on regulatory compliance, licensing, anti-money laundering requirements, and international sanctions.

Alma has experience with complex compliance frameworks involving both financial market and public sector regulation, including health system oversight, internal investigations, and sensitive data protection. She frequently represents clients before administrative and judicial bodies and engages with supervisory and enforcement authorities.

She holds a Bachelor of Law from the University of Geneva (2019), a Master of Law from the University of Neuchâtel (2021), and a Certificate of Advanced Legal Studies from the University of Geneva (2021). Admitted to the Geneva Bar in 2023, she worked at a boutique law firm from 2020 until joining Walder Wyss in 2024.

Alma practices in French and English and has a good command of Spanish and Italian. She is admitted to the Geneva Bar and is admitted to practice throughout Switzerland.
