Christine Schweikard is an attorney in the Information Technology, Data Protection and Intellectual Property Team. She specializes in regulatory and intellectual property aspects in the healthcare and life sciences sectors. She frequently drafts and negotiates licensing and research agreements for clients from the pharmaceutical, biotech, medical device and information technology industries, advises on product regulatory issues, and supports healthcare providers and health insurers in the digitization of healthcare.
Christine Schweikard graduated from Humboldt University Berlin (First State Examination, 2012), University Paris II – Panthéon Assas (Master I, 2012), and King’s College London (LL.M., 2013). Before joining Walder Wyss, she held a traineeship in the Higher Regional Court district of Berlin and in Tokyo, Japan (Second State Examination, 2017), was a research assistant at Humboldt University Berlin, and worked at leading German law firms in their healthcare and life sciences departments. She completed her doctoral degree in medical devices law at Augsburg University (Dr. iur., 2021).
Christine Schweikard advises clients in German, English, and French. She is registered under Art. 28 BGFA in the public list of nationals of EU or EFTA member states who are entitled to represent parties before judicial authorities in Switzerland on a permanent basis under their original professional title.
