Grégoire Henriod graduated with honors from the Universities of Lausanne (BLaw, 2010) and Bern (MLaw, 2012). He obtained the Certificate of advanced studies in legal professions (Ecole d'Avocature) from the University of Geneva in 2013 and then worked as a legal intern in the Geneva office of a major Swiss law firm.

He was admitted to the Geneva Bar in 2015 and joined the Lausanne office of Walder Wyss in 2017 after spending more than two years as an associate in the banking and finance group of the before mentioned law firm. Grégoire Henriod is registered with the Vaud Bar Registry and admitted to practice in all of Switzerland.

Medbase acquires majority interest in Groupe Médical Synergie

On 12 July 2018, Medbase Romandie SA, a company of the Migros Group, acquired a majority interest in Groupe Médical Synergie SA. With this acquisition, Medbase continues its expansion strategy in the French part of Switzerland, adding an important medical center in Lausanne.

Walder Wyss has advised Medbase on the transaction. The team was led by Alexandre Both (Partner, M&A) and included Grégoire Henriod (Associate, M&A).


Akara acquires Patrimonial Suisse SA

Akara Funds AG, on behalf of Akara Diversity PK, acquired end of Mai 2018 the holding company Patrimonial Suisse SA and its three affiliates, including a portfolio of nine properties in the city of Geneva and the French part of Switzerland. The aggregate property value amounted to about CHF 113 mio.

Silhouette Wellness closes sale of three fitness centers in Geneva and Lausanne

On 15 May 2018, Silhouette Wellness SA, a company of the Migros Group, closed the sale of three fitness centers in Geneva (Silhouette Wilson and PURE Champel) and Lausanne (Silhouette Rue Valentin, Lausanne). The sale was made to Wellness Sport Geneva SA.

Artisa Real Estate AG acquires EDDC SA

On 17 April 2018, Artisa Real Estate AG, in Zug, acquired EDDC SA, in Geneva. The investment amount exceeded CHF 20 mio. Following two acquisitions in Zurich, Artisa Real Estate AG continues its expansion strategy in Switzerland in the micro apartment sector. Micro Living Developer AG, an affiliate of Artisa Real Estate AG, will develop the property owned by EDDC SA at Rue du Rocher in Lausanne in micro apartments.
